FURTHER INFORMATION ON THIS DECISION

The 2020 Festival has been cancelled

After considering the Government’s announcements over the last few days, it is with great regret that we have to announce that we have decided to cancel the Reading & Mid-Berks CAMRA Real Ale and Cider Festival for 2020. This is disappointing for many of us, but is the only responsible course to take in light of the extremely serious situation that we are all facing. We hope that you all remain in good health and we look forward to seeing you all at Reading & Mid-Berks CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival 2021.

SELF ISOLATION?

With a lot of businesses having to operate and survive during this period, many pubs and breweries are feeling the strain.

If you would like to support your local whilst you self-isolate, perhaps you might consider stocking up with many of them directly?

Our friends at the Bracknell Beer and Cider festival have put together a great list to help you support your local bars and breweries during this time:

STOCK-UP AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL

Volunteer at the 2021 Festival

The festival is built and run by our dedicated volunteers from the ground up!

There are many benefits that our volunteers enjoy, as long as you’re volunteering for two shifts or more, as well as free entry to as many sessions as you’d like while the festival is open, you’ll also be able to drink for free (within reason) whilst you’re working and will get vouchers towards the cost of food at the site. If the role you’re doing means you can’t drink ‘on duty’, you’ll get drink tokens to use later!
